Yule

Yule or Midwinter is a Gaelic festival in December. This is the winter solstice. The pagans celebrated the return of the Sun.The nights now are the longest but from the solstice the daytime will be longer and longer. The light is reborn and it becomes stronger. This time the Oak King will be victorious.
They say that this time the kiss is allowed under the mistletoe for everyone...
Yule's symbols are the Yule-trunk, mistletoe, oak, evergreen branches, golden candles, holly, Christmas plants.
